Due to the nature of my email address I've had a few experiences with the Matt Winters of the world. The most recent one involved a Mr. Matthew Winter from Andover UK. I got his Virgin Media phone / TV account pin emailed to me along with a message of "hey you're bill is ready." Not wanting to be late on a payment (or more likely not wanting to cause another of my nominal brothers to be late on a payment) I signed in to the account found the phone number that was being paid for and called it up using my gmail / Google Voice widget ($0.02 a minute!). He had a charming computerized British lady voicemail greeting. I left him a message explaining the situation and now Virgin's got their email addresses all sorted out. And I have a pen pal in Andover.

Oh yeah and I still had the initial $1.00 of credit on my google account so I didn't have to ask him to paypal me 4 cents.

Whenever I'm bored at work and feel like reminiscing I do a search for 409ers on the system and I always find a Matthew Winters. I haven't looked up what his story was but he was not nearly as sharply dressed as the real article.

This morning I received an email from Plenty of Fish congratulating me on opening my account. my username is apparently "Lilboner" so clearly I'm looking for something serious.

Well he only made it a few days before I decided I didn't want to get any more "Franchesca_44 is interested in you!" updates so I reset the password and nuked the account. I was pleasantly surprised that an account deletion feature was even present.

I feel like you missed an opportunity to monitor his life and reward him with good dates when he's good and vice versa kind of a pavlovs bitches thing and at the end of his life he meets you and is like "it was you the whole time"
