sub 7 minutes here I come! I just need the outside temp to be like 300F! w00t ;)

i suggested to arif that he and matt should have a goal to look awesome by the cruise since arif's "two weeks on three months off" workout schedule doesn't seem to be working very well. we dont do TTOW because you guys are supposed to be working out a couple days a week. what happened to that?

I went on vacation and we never started up again. I'm getting back into it though. :P

  • 8/12/09: 1 mile: 7.37.25; biking for 20 minutes
  • 8/13/09: 10 mins on elliptical 25 minutes lifting weights 10 minutes swimming
  • 8/14/09: 1 mile pseudo-fartlek; 1 mile (not timed)
  • 8/15/09: day off
  • 8/16/09: 1 mile: 7:21

I feel like I'm about to the level where I should be so now it's going to take effort to improve my mile but I was impressed with 7:11 today. best part: I ran it just before breaking my fast. Maybe knowing that I'd be able to eat soon after I finished my run was the incentive that made me run faster. :)
