I just received a scheduled downtime email.. they talk about upgraded servers but we were recently moved to a (presumably) new upgraded server.. so perhaps this doesn't actually apply to us.. anyway here's the details

Dear Valued Customer:

On August 22 2009 between 1:00 am and 3:00 am EDT network
engineers will be performing maintenance on the server that your
account resides on.

During this maintenance period network services will be interrupted
effecting all Internet services associated with your account. While
the maintenance window is set for 2 hours we expect no longer than
20-30 minutes of downtime.

We can appreciate that the maintenance may not be convenient for
everyone but it is being performed in the interest of continuing to
provide you with the best possible experience.

If you wish to avoid this outage technicians will be standing by to
migrate any client that requests so to our new class of enterprise web
servers. If you would like to take advantage of this free upgrade
simply submit a ticket requesting migration of your account to our
support help desk.

If you have any questions about the planned maintenance please
contact our Support department through the online ticketing system
available at the following URL:

Time for new hosting yet again. No particular reason to leave Crucial.. I bought some new hosting for Shannon's website (for which he's paying a portion) and decided to consolidate everything there. I've moved all of my webpages (I'd link to the pages but ~~most~~ all of them are NSFW to some degree either the content or the URLs) except for club409 since it's the most used by far.

So in the next few months I plan on finding the time to move everything over to our new hosting company Dreamhost. There is a deadline because I don't want to renew the Crucial hosting and pay for the new stuff.. so perhaps that will motiviate me to complete the migration.

hmm yeah as far as i know everything got moved over.. perhaps some things need to be fixed up. any particular URL that's missing for you?

you know what i was just thinking about? sometimes i don't know it's wednesday and i feel like club409 could help me out with that is that code still sitting patiently dormant somewhere?
