On January 1 some Baton Rouge homies and I are flying to Las Vegas. I suspect there will be much gambling eating drinking and ridiculous stories to follow. If anyone's been to vegas or you know of any awesomeness that I should go experience post about it here so I'll be properly prepared when the time comes.

I would tell you all the fun stuff in vegas but they told me it has to stay in vegas or P Diddy would kill me.

I know some people from MUD that are going to vegas for new years. well... 2 last I checked. not a very bumpin' party if you ask me. and one of them had a girlfriend last I checked so not much whoring I'd guess and what's vegas without the whoring?

So it turns out that not even the internet is free in vegas. unless you're at the airport about to leave.
I've had lots of fun checking out the scene here in the big LV. our travels were restricted to the strip because we didnt want to rent a car or take a cab all the time. We walked up and down and i saw a lot of mindblowingly-huge buildings. like seriously these hotels are bigger than mah nutz. I took a few photos but not as many as i would have liked. for now i'll just post the illegal one of the poker room at the Venetian.
For the first two days of gambling I lost all the chips i bought. however on the third day I rose again and filled full my wallet. I made back everything I lost + $20 and then I played a little longer and lost some more. but it averaged out to me spending $10 a day on gambling which is not bad considering how many lives this city has ruined :-)
I bet $40 on the LSU game and you know that was easy money. If I had half a brain i would have dropped a few C-notes on it but I guess i'm just a weenie. I took a stack of hooker cards from the street people just in case anyone needs any info on 2-on-1 action for $99.
It's going to be fun getting back on eastern time especially since not only have i been on pacific time for last 5 days but I've also been on vegas poker room time leaving at 3 or 4 in the morning. good times.

LSU was favored by 8 points. by betting 40 i won 36 because of the rake (or whatever that fee is called in non-poker games).
and yes i know it's not a very impressive sum of money but i wanted to reserve my gambling funds for things that took longer to enjoy like 6 hours at a poker table :)
