yeah so one of 2 things has been happening.. either someone was trying to register a new user (username "motionless" ?) and their browser messed up (or my registration page messed up) or someone's been trying to break stuff with account registration.

anyway if you're motionless and you'd like to actually have an account send me an email (matt AT club409 DAWT com) and i'll get it all straightened out.

if you're a bastard trying to break the page well that's just not cool.

so i went back and checked all of the funky users and it looks like they put a secret message in the input boxes.. but if any part of the message was in the password field it'll be pretty hard to decipher because I only store a hashed value of the password (the original text is not recoverable in any reasonable amount of time).

One of them new fangled registering bots? Like when you have to input a set of letters from a picture to register on some sites what those are trying to prevent.
