Labor Day weekend at the Watkins Mansion? There's to be some football watching and rodeo goings on. As well as 4-wheelers guitar hero swimming and hottubing. Let me know if you guys are interested.

As tempting as the hottubbery sounds I'll be in south florida for my region's flyback. I'll be staying at a Westin on the beach thursday and friday night and I'll be in Lake Worth saturday through monday (possibly tuesday). I won't be able to come up to Melbourne bc my mom's got a serious case of empty-nest syndrone with my little sister off to UF(zOMG!). Shawn was talking about driving down though so if you guys wanted to go the extra two hours you could come hangout at my house and get some home cookin. Or if you wanna go the extra 3 hours you can come down to FTL and chill at the Westin. Maybe create some awkward "situations" (if you know i mean) with some fly honeys on the beach? Eh? They're having an 80s costume contest! $200 cash monies for the winter! I mean winner..or do i!?!!!1

edit: Oddly enough i actually meant to type "winner" but my fingers went ahead and preempted that thought.

Holy carp 80's night!!1 unfortunately I'll have to stick around melbourne for labor day weekend b/c I'm attending an ultimate mini-camp for to prepare the team for sectionals (which will be followed closely by regionals and then hopefully nationals! :-D). If we went south on Sunday night (I've got Monday Sept. 3 off) then that's a possibility.

Foosball Table Option 1: $699.95 (free shipping from amazon!)
Foosball Table Option 2: $999.99 (maybe free shipping too!)

Of course option 2 is like $300 more so I might request some donations if we go that route. I'll get $487 covered through extended benefits. So $213 for first option $513 for the second one. Let me know if someone is willing to contribute.

extended benefits? please expound.

I'll put up some cash although it will be a share fit for a "semi-regular visitor" as opposed to a roommate.

=====================================================

Avanade gives us an expense account for "personal improvement." Level 15's get $500 and level 20's and higher get $2000 a year. The catch is that you get taxed 35% so essentially it is a $1300 expense account. Since I leveled up to 20 mid-year I had a prorated amount of $750 left ($487 after taxes).

The policy includes four main categories: Technology & Gadgets Work & Life Style Health & Wellbeing and Personal & Career Growth.

I can't buy gaming software/hardware or "Any Display or "Monitor" Where the Primary Use is Other than a Monitor i.e. LCD Displays Designed for TV Viewing or Gaming" so 4503 won't be getting a 46'' LCD TV anytime soon. However I can buy other electronics (e.g. DV cameras maybe slow motion camera?!) home gym equipment pay for gym fees sporting goods (e.g. foosball table) among a plethora of other goodies. Apparently I can use it to pay for maids and for "Massages (LMT only)". Which stands for "Licensed Massage Therapist" right? Or was it "Lick My Taint". Either way it should make for lots of fun.

Anyways the expense account is for the fiscal year so I need to spend the $750 by 9/30 (DONE). However starting 10/1 I get another $2000 ($1300) so start thinking of new ways for me to spend my monies.

How about locating one of those big inflatable balls that you run around in? They were on some commercial a while back and we wanted to get one...

On an unrelated note but still in this thread:
If anyone is interested Ben Bailey (dude from cash cab) is gonna be doing stand-up at the Funny Farm this Thursday. Beth and I and a few other people are gonna be going. They have a deal where if you make reservations you get in for free with a two purchase minimum. I've been once before they usually have two local dudes go on before the main guy and last time they were all pretty good. Food is pretty decent and not horribly overpriced. Anyone wanna go?
