been trying to solve the audio issue to no luck, it's just how the mic-in jack on the laptop sounds, prob pickup just a cheap audio interface soon, i mean i could use my roland interface i use for music but that would require a bunch of wires being disconnected every time i moved it back and forth

ok i bought another interface, hopefully that will take things up a notch
might also try to start making highlight reels of the playthroughs when they're done with the youtube editor, gotta start notating when the interesting stuff is for later reference, that time requirement tho

ok so the interface sucks so bad i'm going to return it, can't even get it to record at all may be defective
but i did some digging deeper and found a noise suppression setting that was checked in the mic settings for my built in audio driver, i unchecked it and it seems to have eliminated the weird fluctuations in the sound but it does now capture the room background noise a/c beer fridge cpu fan etc, so i needed a noise gate and did some googling and found noisegator which is a noise gate with threshold attack and release settings and that pretty much does the job, so new vids should have better quality sound

aw i was gonna try to do some highlight reel of blood dragon with the youtube video editor but it won't let me edit my own videos because some of them have copyright claims due to the music, and i can't redownload the videos with copyright claims and i've already deleted most of them due to space issues, guess i'll have to maintain the highlights locally till they're done locally from now on, not sure if i'm committed enough for that sort of tedium though
